Rolling for a Safe Ride Home!

So my man Josh up there got some pub a few weeks back when he won the Free Skee Tourney with Sprout.  At the time, I caught a bunch of sh*t for repeatedly calling him a rookie in the article, because he had played a few skeesons back. What folks didn’t realize was that was an inside joke between me, him, and O’Face. He came up to us at one of the Free Skees and said “sooo, do I get my rookie status back since I haven’t played in a while? Kinda like being a born-again virgin?” My response to him was simple: Unicorns and born-again virgins aren’t real. Neither are two-time rookies.

Anyways, so he’s playing on Skeeber Fever this skeeson (currently the #1 squad), and his wife Cari is playing on Sushkee Rolls. Now, personally I’ve never had to deal with playing in the same league with your wife, trying to coordinate schedules, who’s driving/who’s drinking, etc. But these two came up with a pretty clever solution to that problem:  Whoever rolls lower is the designated driver the following week. And so far, Josh has won the first two weeks…..by a single point each week! Crazy!

Can Josh continue to beat her each week for the entire skeeson and keep Cari’s sober streak alive? Or will she step her game up and force him to be the DD for a few weeks? Stay tuned…
